Glassboro, NJ — Essemtec, a leading manufacturer of surface mount technology production equipment, announces that it will exhibit the CDS6250 non-contact dispensing system with NanoJet Valve in booth 501 at the upcoming APEX 2008 exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 1-3, 2008, in Las Vegas.
The CDS6250 dispensing machine comes equipped with a NanoJet Valve, and dispenses adhesives, filled adhesives, pastes, lubricants, paints, lacquers, and much more — all contactless. The machine dispenses up to 540,000 points per hour, and the smallest volume for reproducible dispensing is 2 nl.
The CDS6250 is ideal for high precision and ultra-fast dispensing of a wide range of media. It also provides vision for automatic reference point recognition, and features systems for up to six bar or optional up to 40 bar (depending on the application).
The system works without any contact between dispensing needle and substrates, and as a result can guarantee no damage to any bond wires in dam-and-fill applications.
All dispensing parameters are fully programmable and allow users to realise different dot or line sizes in real time. The easy-to-use programming interface ensures full process control, including dispensing temperature. The PC-controlled machine is available as a standalone solution, as well as a SMEMA compatible in-line system that includes a fully automatic reference recognition system.
