as the UK’s premier total industry event
Now only months away, National Electronics Week has announced even more high profile additions to its comprehensive floorplan. Being held at London’s Earls Court 2 over 17th – 19th June, the event has attracted widespread industry support – spanning design and components through to production and distribution. Based on these solid foundations, the show is truly shaping up to be the UK’s premier industry event.
National Electronics Week’s unprecedented scope of coverage has been further extended with recent confirmed support from leading industry names such as Agilent, Interpower Components, National Instruments, OK International and Panasonic. These recent additions will join the likes of Briton EMS, MYDATA, Juki, Europlacer, PACE, Kaisertech and Fuji at Earls Court 2 in June.
Commenting on the latest signings, NEW Event Director Claire Jeffreys explains: “As a totally fresh national show, NEW - along with our visitors and exhibitors - has the power to change the face of what you can expect from exhibitions of this nature. This is a responsibility we take extremely seriously, which is why we’re delighted that the industry has welcomed us so wholeheartedly. This really is a NEW start for all of us, so we’re glad that such high-profile electronics businesses and trade associations are joining with us to make it count.”
Newly confirmed exhibitor OK International’s European Marketing Communications Manager Nathalie Morin, explains: “Tradeshows are all about introducing new products and technologies, so the acronym chosen by the organisers couldn’t have been more appropriate! We’re looking forward to exhibiting direct in the UK again and unveiling exciting product launches to the market.” Agilent Technologies UK Ltd. District Sales Manager Marc Cashmore adds: “As a new, fresh and broader-based electronics exhibition, National Electronics Week is a great vehicle in which to raise Agilent Technology’s profile and tap into the network of other high technology companies in the area.”
Highlighting the importance of NEW for the industry as a whole, Briton EMS’s Peter Towler claims: “We have exhibited at shows which claim to be industry-wide electronics shows but are predominantly places where manufacturers talk to equipment suppliers... I think that National Electronics Week offers a great opportunity for the UK electronics industry to once again have a showcase for the whole industry … one which offers Electronics Manufacturing Service suppliers design specialists, software engineering companies and a whole range of other ancillary assistance to product developers’ timescales.”
