Dage to exhibit new XD7500NT digital x-ray inspection system at APEX

Fremont, California – Dage Precision Industries, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN) and the industry leader in x-ray inspection technology, is pleased to announce that it will exhibit its new XD7500NT digital x-ray inspection system for the first time in North America at the IPC Printed Circuits Expo and APEX Designers Summit scheduled to take place on April 1-3, 2008.

This new x-ray inspection system combines superior digital acquisition technology with Dage’s award winning and easy to use ImageWizard software for world class inspection quality. Available with the Dage NT x-ray tube, the system provides sub-micron feature recognition with the added benefit of a sealed tube for minimal maintenance – a real benefit for busy production floors.

In addition, Dage will showcase an extensive range of new products including Quick View CT software that allows users to obtain initial computerized tomography reconstructions within 5 minutes compared to previous times of over 20 minutes. This quick view CT software makes the use of CT a much more viable process tool for production and failure analysis applications.

Also introduced will be the new XD7600NTHP digital x-ray inspection system with a high-power tube offering 10 watts of power and sub-micron feature recognition. Unlike existing high power tubes that have to significantly compromise resolution when used at higher power levels, this new Dage high-power tube retains sub-micron feature recognition at full power. This is especially important when looking through dense materials such as multilayer printed circuit boards containing heat sinks.

A new option of dual monitors will also be displayed that allows operators to view more detail on the navigation map while at the same time allowing a full screen display for the all important x-ray image.
