EMA Design Automation to Become Valor's Representative
in the North American Design Market

Newton, MA – Valor Computerized Systems Ltd, a global provider of productivity-enhancing software solutions for the electronics industry, announced today the formation of a new strategic partnership with EMA Design Automation (http://www.ema-eda.com/) as a Channel Partner in the electronics design market in North America. The agreement establishes EMA as a sales and support channel for Valor’s best-in-class DFM solution Enterprise 3000 and the Valor Parts Library (VPL), and the electronics design market will benefit from Valor’s best-in-class DFM solutions and EMA’s expertise as a full-service solutions provider.

Headquartered in Rochester, NY, EMA Design Automation has nearly 20 years of experience providing solutions for the electronics design market, offering a complete range of product lifecycle management systems, electrical CAD tools, mechanical CAD tools, consulting services, training, and technical support. EMA is a Cadence® Channel Partner serving all of North America and a PTC® Partner addressing the product development needs of companies globally.

“Valor’s DFM is a great addition to our PCB design flow solution, providing improved communications between our customers and their supply chain” said Manny Marcano, President and CEO of EMA. “This technology will enable our customers to improve product manufacturability, reduce the number of design spins, and reduce their overall time to market. We take a holistic approach to customer solutions. Customers want to bring their products to market quickly with quality and at the lowest possible cost. They are not interested in tools. They want whatever combination of solutions that are necessary, software and services that will meet these requirements. EMA is uniquely positioned in the North American market to deliver such solutions.”

“I’m very happy to have EMA join us as a strategic sales channel partner,” said Dan Weitzman, President of Valor Inc. “The expansion of our distribution and support network is part of Valor’s strategy to deliver great value to the electronics design and manufacturing markets in North America, and EMA is the perfect partner to help us achieve that goal. The North American PCB Design centers and customers will be better served and educated about Valor DFM solution thanks to EMA’s extended network of sales and support.”
