Electronics KTN confirms support for National Electronics Week
The Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network has announced plans to support the National Electronics Week, taking place at London’s Earls Court over 17th – 19th June. Delivering an additional level of content for the design professionals and CTO’s at the show, the Electronics KTN further enhances NEW’s provision of world-class technical seminar content.
Electronics KTN supports the electronic design community in the UK, endorsing the sector globally, encouraging collaboration between academia and business, and promoting innovation industry-wide. Commenting on the organisation’s decision to support NEW, Electronics KTN Chief Executive, Ashley Evans, explains: “During National Electronics Week, the Electronics KTN will be inviting keynote speakers to highlight the importance of electronics as a ‘creative industry’ and discuss how we can improve the sector’s performance in terms of its global positioning and competitive edge. In addition, we will be delivering Innovation Workshops that will give the electronics design community the opportunity to sell their capabilities to new markets through brokerage events.”
Electronics KTN seminars and workshops will be highly relevant to exhibitors and visitors alike, providing a unique insight into the challenges faced by today’s design professionals. Representing a vast knowledge-base in the area of design, the Electronics KTN team s will be on hand for the duration of the show to advise attendees on the very latest developments taking place in the industry, along with explaining how they could benefit from the collaborative energy driving knowledge transfer networks.
NEW Event Director Claire Jeffreys adds: “We’re delighted to welcome Electronics KTN on board, confident that it will form an important addition to our educational line-up. We know that in the UK, our industry has so much to offer in terms of creative talent in electronic design and product development. NEW will deliver a fantastic forum for Electronics KTN to promote UK expertise, in addition to helping exhibition-goers learn more about this valuable sector and network with other organisations. Featuring the most extensive technical seminar line-up available today, the wealth of educational opportunities on offer at National Electronics Week is, quite simply, unmissable!”
