The solder div. of FCT Assembly uses manufacturers reps, select distributors, and a direct sales staff to market our products. With these three groups working together, we feel confident we are receiving the messages of the customer base and responding to their needs for lead-free products.
We believe the North American market will continue to move toward lead-free products in all applications just as Asia and Europe have. This market, however, appears to be lagging by two years. In 2008, we will continue to market the SN100C alloy for wave operations but will expand to the reflow market with some unique formulas.
FCT Solders offers onsite technical service when running any of our products. This allows us to see firsthand any failures and make corrections. We have almost a 100 percent success rate when one of our representatives works with the customer. Bringing this philosophy to Asia during 2008 will be one of our goals.
