The fourth quarter of 2018 was extremely strong for Air-Vac Engineering's Rework and Automation Divisions and we have a high level of orders in place for the first quarter of 2019 so we expect this positive trend to continue throughout 2019.

Customer demand for Rework Equipment with the highest level of automation and process control is a perfect fit for our robotic rework systems which provide repeatable results while minimizing the operator skill level that is required. Our continued innovation will result in two new products in 2019 aimed directly at customer needs that are not currently met by existing equipment.

Our Automation Division features high precision, Micro-Assembly Production Cells manufactured by Infotech AG in Switzerland that are all about continuous innovation to meet specific customer needs as every Cell is custom-designed to meet the Process Flow specified by the customer.

A very large number of micro-assembly applications are still done by hand by highly skilled operators, however, once a customer sees how fast and accurate a custom Cell is, a Factory Automation Plan using a large number of custom cells for multiple applications often follows.
