Despite a challenging 2016 where PACE Worldwide was adversely affected by exchange rate fluctuations, we accomplished some amazing things:

• Successfully launched two key products: The TF 1800 BGA/SMD Rework System incorporates a patent-pending Inductive-Convection heater, which provides rapid heat-up and active cooling of the solder joints, resulting in faster throughput and greater process control.

The PH-100 Preheater is a high powered, non-contact infrared heating system with an ergonomic, low profile design that allows operators to safely pre-heat PCB's for fast and easy soldering, rework or repair on the highest mass, lead-free assemblies.

• Recruited critical new talent including CFO, Latin America Regional Sales Manager and Materials Engineer.

• Moved our primary manufacturing location in Southern Pines NC to our new home/Corporate Headquarters about 5 minutes away in Vass NC. We own the building within 3 years for less than one-third the previous monthly lease.

• Brought our overhead down to half of what it was in 2009.

As a result of 2016 efforts, PACE expects double-digit growth and a slew of groundbreaking new products in the new year. Products in the pipeline include upgraded BGA Rework Systems, an expanded Fume Extraction line, a new benchtop rework station, plus a new rework video program co-produced with IPC.

2017 will be an exciting and busy year for PACE.
